WPIX-TV Thomas' English Muffin Recipe Contest Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

"Thomas ' English Muffin Recipe Contest" ("Contest") begins on 7/20/09 and ends on 10/07/09 ("Contest Period"). The Contest consists of three (3) winners selected on 8/12/09, 9/9/09, 10/7/09..

1. TO ENTER: You must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of New York, New Jersey or Connecticut. To enter, log on to www.WPIX.com and complete the official entry form, submitting your name, age, e-mail address, telephone number and recipe including Thomas' English Muffins. One entry per e-mail address; subsequent entries from a single e-mail address will be deleted. All entries must be received by 11:59PM EST on 10/6/09. Entrants must use their own name. Copies or other mechanical reproductions, facsimiles, entries containing technical or electronic reproductions, e-mail entries containing attached files are not eligible and will be rejected. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, incomplete, damaged, illegible, late, or misdirected entries, or for errors in mechanical transmission, technical difficulties or inability to transmit Internet entries. All entries become the property of Bimbo Foods, Inc. and will not be returned.

2. SELECTION OF WINNERS: All eligible entries received as of 11:59PM EST on the Sunday prior to each selection date (indicated below), will be judged by Thomas' English Muffins representatives based on originality (50%), creativity (25%) and degree of difficulty (25%). One winner every month (for a total of 3 winners) will be selected on the following dates: 8/12/09, 9/9/09, 10/7/09. The winners will be notified by telephone or email. Winners must respond to such notification within one week following selection and/or notification attempt; failure to timely respond will result in disqualification and possible selection of an alternate winner based on the judging criteria identified above. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

3. PRIZE: Each of the three (3) winners will appear on the PIX Morning News eight (8) days after their selection. Appearances will be on the following dates: 8/20/09, 9/17/09, 10/15/09. Winners must be available to appear on those dates. If winners are unavailable to appear, then winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected based on the judging criteria. Each winner will receive four (4) $50 gift certificates from among the following restaurants. (Winners will receive no more than one gift certificate per restaurant). Prizes do not include airfare, lodging or any other costs associated with claiming or utilizing the prizes awarded.

APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: $200 Except as expressly provided in these rules, prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and not redeemable for cash, credit or merchandise. If any prize becomes unavailable for any reason, Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of comparable value. Winners must claim his/her prize by 11/1/09 at WPIX-TV (located at 220 E.42nd Street, New York, NY 10017). Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited, and no alternate winner will be selected.

4. CONDITIONS & RESTRICTIONS. Entrants agree Sponsors have the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this Contest and that its decision is final and binding. Except where prohibited by law, entrants 18 years of age and older agree to allow use of their name, voice, photograph, likeness and any information provided on entry form, in any medium of communication, including print, Internet, radio and/or television and for any purpose, including advertising, promotional or other purposes, by Sponsors and/or its affiliates, without additional compensation. Winner by acceptance of a prize, agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsors, the parent companies and affiliates, and each of their employees, representatives, contractors, sponsors and advertisers, from any and all liability, loss, damage, costs or claims related to any allegation regarding the award of, the receipt of, or the use of their prize. Sponsors are not responsible for personal injury of any prizewinner or guest, incurred in connection with the use of a prize. Winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to receiving their prize. Winner assumes all applicable tax liability for their prize. Redemption of prizes may be subject to additional restrictions imposed by the participating restaurant.

5. ELIGIBILITY: Contest is not open to employees of Sponsors or its employees or any independent contractor of Sponsors. Immediate family members, employees or immediate family of any of Sponsor's affiliated companies, licensees, advertising or promotional agencies, independent contractors, or sponsors are also ineligible.

6. SPONSOR: Contest is sponsored by WPIX TV, 220 East 42 Street, New York, NY 10017 and Bimbo Foods, Inc., 255 Business Center Drive, Suite 200, Horsham, PA 19044. Void where prohibited or restricted.

7. INTERNET: If for any reason, the Internet-related portion of this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security or integrity of the Contest, Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the Contest or any portion of the Contest. ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE CONTEST. Contest rules shall be governed and enforced pursuant to New York law, excluding choice of law provisions.
