Dr. Steven Salvatore, PIX Morning News Medical Reporter, joined WPIX in 2005, where he can be seen every weekday morning on "The CW11 Morning News" reporting on the latest medical developments and answering viewer's medical questions in the "Ask Dr. Steve" segments.
Dr. Steve is as board certified Emergency Medicine physician. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital and was formerly an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department of St. Vincent's Midtown Hospital in Manhattan. Prior to his post at St. Vincent's Midtown Hospital, Dr. Steve was the Assistant Director and Attending Physician in the ER of St. John's Queens Hospital. He was also an Attending Physician at New York Hospital Queens and has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Cornell Medical School. |
