Look at all the double standards. When the private sector puts limits on health care coverage, it's fine; but when the government does it, it's a "death panel"? Health care coverage with limited resources can be done in the private sector, but the ability for government to do it is "la la land"? You guys need a reality check.

The reality is all coverage needs limits, whether it's handled by the private sector or government. There are major problems with our current system and more & more Americans will be without coverage if things continue as is. Our country is the only industrialized country without some form of government sponsored health care for its citizens. Our country's health care is rated in the 30's to 40's when compared to other countries around the world, but it costs more than twice as much as the second most expensive health care system. If the private sector was the answer, we should have the best care for less. The only citizens in the U.S. who get the best health care in the world are the wealthy.

Our system should have basic coverage for everyone that covers check ups and serious hospitalization. That way most problems can get caught early before they become serious problems and hospitals won't need to offset the costs of the patients without coverage onto those with coverage. The private sector can offer coverage for anything beyond the basic coverage.
