He knows his background doesn't look good to Republicans, so his campaign has stayed focused on bad-mouthing our President. It wasn't until recently that Perry finally decided to start airing Romney's past now that things are starting to look dire for him. In the Republican "debates" (more like anti-Obama cheerleading), they've spent the majority of their time talking about President Obama. I keep watching them hoping they'll start spending their time telling us why they should be the Republican candidate and what their plans are once in office. Unfortunately, most Republicans would rather blindly follow a Republican candidate over learning about the candidates and endorsing the person who's policies they support. Mitt Romney is very aware of this and will continue his strategy of anti-Obama statements and keeping quiet about his track record. So far, it's working for him.
