HOLLYWOOD (KTLA) -- Video has surfaced of a violent Halloween brawl in Hollywood that left a man in critical condition.

According to police, the fight broke out about 1:30 a.m. as clubgoers believed to be leaving the Playhouse Hollywood nightclub on Hollywood Boulevard near Wilcox Avenue.

A graphic YouTube video shows a small fistfight between several costumed men breaking out on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Wilcox Avenue.

Onlookers can be heard screaming and calling out, including one man saying "Let's go chief."

The fight quickly escalates onto the street blocking traffic before security and officers break up the fight.

One of the men seen falling to the floor was wearing an orange prison jumpsuit, lowered to the waist to reveal a chest-full of tattoos.

One of the men in the video claims a person involved in the fight was brandishing a weapon.

The victim, a 27-year-old man, fell to the ground and was beaten until he was unconscious. Police said the man was also stabbed during the melee.

He was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical, but stable, condition.

Police said as many as three suspects were involved, but no charges have been filed and no arrests have been made.

The cause of the fight is still under investigation.

Authorities say the Halloween party atmosphere of the night may have played into the brawl.
