Cassie is a 1 year old lab mix with a very important job. Cassie and her handler Dave Kendrick are on the hunt for bed bugs. They work for New Jersey-based Action Pest Control. The recent rash of bed bug outbreaks at a Times Square movie theater and at several Manhattan retail stores proves that this epidemic is not going to bed so quickly.

Project manager Todd Lorah say dogs can help snuff out the problem. "Humans only know how to find key areas with our eyes. Dogs can smell the scent of bed bugs and find them in places we cannot see. It's a more cost effective and less intrusive way to combat the bed bug problem."
