College graduates on the hunt for their dream job now have the convenience of getting valuable career advice and hot job tips - all while getting to make Happy Hour.The nation's first career center located inside a tavern, opened its doors Monday in Manhattan. The Irish American Tavern Job Center is situated inside O'Casey's Tavern located at 22 East 41st Street between Madison and Fifth Avenues in Midtown.
Paul Hurley, President of the United Restaurant and Tavern Owners Association, mingled with hundreds of unemployed newly college grads and immigrants as they met with representatives from fifty business organizations in hopes of obtaining a job.
The center, which is expected to be open a few nights a week, will help those seeking a job in the Greater New York Cityarea -- all free of charge.
