GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY (PIX11) -- Police are looking for a cross-dressing young man who they believe helped a rowdy group tear up a West Village Dunkin' Donuts.

Mark Wright, pictured dressed as a male and a female, was with the wild gang of roughly two dozen youths who destroyed the 75 Christopher St. coffee shop on Monday, May 16, police say.

At around 8:15 p.m. the group entered the Dunkin' Donuts and hurled chairs and tables, stole frozen drinks and other merchandise and destroyed a hot chocolate machine – wracking up $2,500 in damages.

The rampage last about seven minutes and left customers and employees shaken.  No injuries were reported.

Police need the public’s help in locating Wright, who is roughly 6’ tall and 150 lbs. and may be dressed as a woman or man.

It is unclear what, if anything, caused the melee, but the two dozen youths may now charges of criminal mischief.
