BRONX (WPIX)—
A 26-year-old man was found dead early Tuesday morning in a Bronx building elevator.

When police responded to a 911 call at 674 E. 149 Street they discovered an African American male shot multiple times inside the elevator, police said.

The elevator was on the first floor of the location and the victim was pronounced dead by Emergency Medical Services at 1:05 a.m.

No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is continuing, according to police.

The victim's identification is pending family notification.
