New York City Police are investigating an alleged gay bias beating of a 22 year old hispanic male that occurred in Brooklyn in the early morning hours of March 2.

The victim, who suffered lacerations to the back of the head and bruises to the face, was allegedly attacked by 5 male hispanics at the corner of Luquer Street and Hamilton Avenue in the 76th Precinct, police said.

During the assault the suspects uttered anti-gay words to the victim, according to the police report.

Emergency Medical Services responding to the scene took the victim to Lutheran Medical Center in stable condition.

The incident is being investigated as a bias crime by the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force.

No arrests have been made.
