First Couple Visits NYC
NEW YORK, N.Y. (WPIX) -
President Obama is spending the night out on the town. He and first lady Michelle Obama are in town this evening for a date night, a White House spokesman confirms. The first couple flew in on a small plane this afternoon just for the day. Because the President doesn't have any official events on Saturday's schedule; his agenda has not been made public. But, there are reports the first couple plans to see the Broadway show, "Joe Turner's Come and Gone." The drama chronicles the struggles of African-Americans in the early 20th century.
