BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WPIX) -
Police are now saying that they have arrested two men allegedly responsible for the shooting of a man in East New York.
The two men arrived at the precinct to report that a shooting had occurred, but witnesses reported seeing the same men throw a gun into a trash can.
Authorities say the victim died after being shot in the back of the head at the intersection of Thomas Boyland St. and Pitkin Ave.
So far, the victim's identity has not been released and police are continuing their investigation
