JERICHO (WPIX) -
Two women were arrested on Long Island Thursday and charged with prostitution.
Bruna Santos, 22 of Philadelphia and Vanessa Chacon, 22, of Roland Heights, California, are accused of soliciting sex over the internet.
Nassau County police say the women arranged to meet men at area motels to engage in sex for "an agreed-upon price."
It's believed the meetings were arranged via Craigslist.
Police say the women were arrested at 9:50 p.m. in Jericho. Authorities did not specify on where the two women were arrested.
The two women were charged with prostitution and were arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
