Youth Minister Accused of Raping 12-Year-Old Girl

NEW YORK (WPIX)—
A youth minister has been arrested and charged with the violent rape of a young girl who attends his Lower East Side church.

Jeremy Fulton, 27, was arrested Thursday night and arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on Friday. He was charged with rape, predatory sex assault on a child, criminal sex act and acting in a major injurious to a child.

According to prosecutors, when the victim turned 12, Fulton touched her and exposed himself. Authorities state the two also had sex for the first time when the victim was 12.

Prosecutors said there may be other victims out there and are urging other children who were abused to contact them.
