In her latest exhibit, "Sacred Women," award-winning artist Andrea Arroyo features works influenced by female characters from world mythology and sacred texts.

Andrea gave PIX11's Lisa Mateo a tour of the exhibit and talked about coming to the U.S. from Mexico City and what women she looks to for inspiration.

Her biggest supporter is her husband, cartoonist Felipe Galindo. His exhibit, "Used/Reused," is located downstairs from "Sacred Women."

He talks about how he met his wife and how their styles are different. Both exhibits have been extended through June 26th.

They can be observed for FREE at the Mark Miller Gallery on Orchard Street. For more information, visit www.markmillergallery.com.
