NEWARK, N.J. (WPIX)—
Newark firefighters battled an early morning two-alarm blaze at a three-story home on Summer Avenue.Initially, there were reports that a firefighter was injured, but a fire official told PIX11 News that a firefighter was simply disoriented while fighting the blaze and was not injured. No other injuries were reported.
According to fire officials, five people who live in the home were displaced as a result of the fire. They are currently working with the Red Cross on finding temporary housing.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
