Eight people were injured, three seriously, in a house fire that ripped through a three-story Brooklyn brownstone Monday morning.

According to the FDNY, the fire erupted just before 4:30 a.m. at 175 Putnam Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvestant. It took firefighters about an hour to bring the blaze under control.

Eight people were in the home at the time of the fire. According to the FDNY, three people suffered life-threatening injuries and were taken to area hospitals for burn and smoke inhalation treatment.

The five other victims, as well as some firefighters, suffered minor injuries.
