NBA Draft's Biggest Flops

Sam Bowie (Kentucky)
No. 2 - Portland Trail Blazers, 1984
Arguably the biggest bust in NBA history because of who was drafted right after him. No remarkable career but definitely out-shined by those who followed him.
Should have chosen: Michael Jordan (No. 3, Chicago), Sam Perkins (No. 4, Dallas), Charles Barkley (No. 5, Philadelphia), Alvin Robertson (No. 7, San Antonio), Otis Thorpe (No. 9, Kansas City), or John Stockton (No. 16, Jazz)

no way he was the biggest bust. yes many better players behind him, but he had decent career, especially given his unfortunate injuries. and he is certain a better human being than many of those guys you cite !

Broke leg Bowie. Thats all he was. He had no spark in his game period.
