Minivan With Corpse Inside Repeatedly Ticketed By Cops
The family of a man whose body had been decomposing in a parked car covered in parking tickets, says officers should have spotted the body when they issued the slew of summonses to the minivan.

Police found the body of 59-year-old George Morales Wednesday morning while attempting to tow his vehicle parked on 34th Ave under the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.

Jennifer Morales, 29, the daughter of George Morales says police should have been aware that her father was in the vehicle as they covered the car with parking tickets over several weeks.

"He was my only family," Jennifer Morales told the New York Daily News, of her father, whom she believes died from a heart attack while sitting in the family's 2000 Chevrolet Ventura in Astoria.

"The window was cracked open. I don't understand how no one noticed him. They just gave him tickets," said Morales.

Although sources said George Morales was homeless, his daughter said he was a diabetic handyman who lived with her and her two kids in Washington Heights.

Jennifer Morales said she had last heard from her father in early May. She claims she notified police, but authorities say they have no record of a report.
