David Blaine Makes Magic For Haiti
David Blaine is working his magic to raise money for Haiti earthquake victims.

The world-class magician kicked off a 72-hour, non-stop magic marathon in Times Square Friday. All proceeds going to immediate relief benefiting quake victims.

Blaine -- who shot a TV special in Haiti in 1999 -- says he was touched by the country and its people during his visit.

"I stayed for 10 days there, and was blown away by the people -- by everybody I met," he said. "The little that they had, and the amount that they were all willing to give. The respect that they had for their elders, the way they radiated when they smiled... They never left my mind."

Blaine -- who teamed up with the Red Cross -- is encouraging New Yorkers to stop by, take in some magic and donate.

You can catch him at West 43rd Street and Broadway through Monday.
