A blogger who wrote about Halloween mischief that occurred in a tight-knight Brooklyn community is underfire for photos he posted of the suspected hooligans online.

Daniel Cavanagh, creator of Gerritsenbeach.net, apparently snapped more than 100 photos of the teens who apparently ransacked the quiet neighborhod by using eggs, potatoes, rocks and shaving cream to attack a city bus, passing cars, and residents. The suspects are even accused of attacking new mothers with their babies.

Cavanagh, who apparently knew some of the teens involved, then apparently supplemented his coverage by using information from their facebook pages. The teens had apparently posted their plans to wreack havoc on the neighborhood and even bragged about it.

Cavanagh apparently used other used additional information from the teen's Facebook profiles, in which a relative said, "Have fun but please be careful Â… there's a lot of cops out!"

HIs posting prompted 300 comments, many of which that were outraged he used the suspect's personal information.

Nevertheless, Cavanagh said his decision is legally and morally justified. He said he took the pictures on a public street and said Facebook is part of the public domain.

New York City Cops say are looking into the crime and the suspects may be tracked down soon.
