Official Canyon of Heroes Parade Route

Close to a million parade goers are expected to attend the New York Giants Victory Parade down the Canyon of Heroes Tuesday.

Fans who are planning to attend the ticker-tape parade in honor of the Giants' Super Bowl XLVI win, should plan to arrive early, according to city officials.

The parade will kick off at Battery Place and Washington St. at 11 a.m. and will head northbound up the Canyon of Heroes to Worth Street. The parade will be followed by a ceremony at City Hall Plaza, at which Bloomberg will present the New York Giants with Keys to the City.

PIX 11 and PIX11.com will be broadcasting the parade LIVE starting at 11 a.m.

Tickets to the City Hall ceremony were given out Monday at 9 a.m. on a first come, first serve basis on Mayor Bloomberg's Twitter feed, the city's 311 line and city's website.

In addition to tickets for Giants friends and family, additional tickets for seats on City Hall Plaza will be distributed to the public by Members of the City Council and other City elected officials, community organizations that work in partnership with the Mayor's Community Affairs Unit in all five boroughs, City and State agencies, and municipal unions.

The City also plans to set up three large screens around City Hall for members of the public to watch the ceremony.
