LOS ANGELES (WPIX)—
A new bombshell report is claiming that a Los Angeles dermatologist who treated the late Michael Jackson for years, is the biological father of two of Jackson's children. In the upcoming issue of US Weekly magazine, which hits newsstands Wednesday, Dr. Arnold Klein is said to have fathered Jackson's children "Prince" Michael Joseph Jr., 12 and Paris Michael Katherine, 11.
Debbie Rowe, who is a former employee of Klein's and once believed to be the biological mother of both children is now said to have played the role of a surrogate in the births of the children who were conceived in vitro, TMZ reported Tuesday. It was while working for Dr. Klein that she met Jackson who was a patient at the time.
Rowe and Jackson married in 1996 and later divorced in 1999.
"He is the dad," a Jackson insider said of Klein. "He and Debbie signed an agreement saying they would never reveal the truth."
In a 1993 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jackson said he was diagnosed with a skin disease called Vitiligo and had Klein release an official statement confirming that the pop star suffered from the condition.
Jackson reportedly made many visits to Dr. Klein's office in Beverly Hills in the months before his death.
There was never an admission to the true lineage of the children by either Jackson or Rowe. Although Rowe confessed in 2002 that she became a surrogate mother as a personal favor to Jackson.
Following Jackson's death on Thursday, Rowe said that The King of Pop was not the children's biological father.
