    • I never believed any of the allegations against Michael Jackson. It is sad that so many judged him / when all he tried to do was good. He was an ANGEL on earth. We lost a lot of years of Michael's charm and magic because of bogus lawsuits. Just very sad. Michael Jackson was a True Miracle.

LOS ANGELES (WPIX) - According to a report, a public memorial service for the late Michael Jackson will be held at the Staples Center July 7. Sources close to the discussions say that the event will take place at 10 a.m. at the 20,000-seat coliseum where the Los Angeles Lakers play.

Initial reports said a public memorial was in the works and would take place at Jackson's Neverland Ranch, but a family spokesman quickly shot down that claim. The elimination of the proposed Neverland memorial came as a blow to many Jackson fans that had already traveled to the estate in hope of attending a public viewing.

Jackson's older brother Jermaine Jackson expressed in an interview early Tuesday morning that Michael would be buried at his Neverland Ranch north of Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, a video of Michael Jackson rehearsing two nights before he died has recently surfaced. In the video obtained by CNN, Michael Jackson appears to be healthy as he rehearses for an upcoming tour he had planned.

The short video was released by AEG, the promoter of Jackson's planned London shows. The video shows Jackson rehearsing on stage at the Staples Center arena on June 23, 2009. Jackson was accompanied on stage by eight male dancers as he belted out his hit song "They Don't Care About Us."
