"The Jersey Shore" invaded Long Island Tuesday as a slew of reality television hopefuls got their shot at scoring a spot on the hit MTV show.Guidos and guidettes alike packed the Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale to pump their fists and strut their stuff in front of a handful of casting directors for the new edition of the "Jersey Shore."
The tanned, toned and flamboyant packed the bar and shared some clever nicknames they'd like to be called if selected for the show, including: Tommy Delicious, Sassy Saba. Barbie, Joey Mazing and, of course, Vinny the Guido.
Casting agents say they are looking for "the proudest, loudest and wildest to carry on the legacy of the show."
Season 2 of the 'Jersey Shore' which will feature all eight original cast members -- Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, Paul 'DJ Pauly D,' Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, Jenni 'JWoww' Farley, Ronnie 'Ortiz-magro, Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola, Vinny Guadagnino and Angelina 'Jolie' Pivarnick – will return to MTV this summer.
The gang began filming the season in Miami but will also return to their old stomping grounds in Seaside Heights.
