NEW YORK, N.Y (WPIX)—
Last week, a thief in the New York City subway system reportedly took off with Bacon's Blackberry. The New York Post says the heist occurred at the B, D and E station at 53rd Street and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan around 10:50 Thursday morning. The actor reportedly chased the wrongdoer, but lost him in the crowded station.
Bacon has had a run of bad luck lately. He and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, are among the many investors who lost money in Bernie Madoff's massive Ponzi scheme.
