Little People Convention Takes Over The Big Apple
NEW YORK (WPIX) - The Little People of America's Convention is invading New York City for the first time ever in the organization's 52-year history.

Nearly 3,000 members and their families will come to town Saturday to attend the week-long event at the Marriott in downtown Brooklyn. The hotel, located at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge, is slated to make a few adjustments for its guests, such as lowering the check-in desk in the lobby and bring in high stools at the bar. Amenities in the rooms have also been adjusted.

Participants will range in height from two feet to 4-foot-10 inches and come from 18 countries. The convention will consist of several workshops, including medical clinics and a banquet.
