A Brooklyn teen is recovering Tuesday, after police said he accidentally shot himself in the penis.
According to the New York Post, 15-year-old Khamir Grant was walking home Sunday at around 1:30 a.m. when the gun he was holding in his waistband began to slid down his pants. When Grant began fumbling with it, he accidentally pulled the trigger and fired a bullet right through his manhood.
Grant managed to wobble home and tell his mother what happened, sources told The Post.
The two went to Kings County Hospital, where Grant was treated and then later arrested by police. According to authorities, the teen was charged with reckless endangerment and criminal possesion of a weapon.
