Tiger Woods And Wife Officially Divorce
After attempting to pick up the pieces of their shattered marriage amid numerous scandalous affairs, Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren, have officially divorced.

According to lawyers for Woods and Nordegren, the divorce - which at times seems inevitable - became official Monday in Bay County Circuit Court.

"We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future," they said in a statement released by attorneys. "While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us."

The divorce comes nine months after Woods crashed his SUV outside the couple's home near Orlando, triggering shocking revelations about the world's No. 1 golfer's serial infidelity.

As many as 13 women were later linked to Woods, some who sold their stories to national tabloids, adding to the very much public and humiliating spectacle.

The scandal prompted Woods to lose millions of dollars in endorsements and took him out of the sport that made him an icon for over five months.

Terms of the divorce were not disclosed, expect that the two plan to share parenting of their two children, ages 3 and 1.
