World's Oldest Mom Dies; Leaves Behind Twin Toddlers
The Spanish woman, who became the world's oldest mother when she gave birth to twin sons at the age 66 back in December 2006, has died, according to newspaper reports.

Maria del Carmen Bousada, who reportedly died Saturday at the age of 69, leaves behind two twin toddlers Pau and Christian, after she lost a long battle with breast cancer.

Bousada apparently lied about her age to the California clinic, saying she was 55-years-old, before getting in vitro fertilization. She reportedly said her mother had lived to be 101 and said she had a good chance of living long enough to raise a child.

Bousada had even undergone hormone therapy to 'rejuvenate' her uterus since she had been in menopause for 18 years.

Many critics have called her actions selfish, unnatural and wrong, claiming her children were innocent victims in her selfish attempt to get pregnant.
