Chiller Theatre Returns!

For the second year in a row, Chiller Theatre is back on PIX with the presentation of the 1964 classic "The Evil of Frankenstein" airing from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Chiller Theatre will be hosted by Elvira, Mistress of the Dark and will feature the original Chiller Theatre opens: "The Six-Fingered Hand" and the "Monster Montage." Chiller Theatre originally aired on WPIX from 1961 to 1978 and again from 1980 to 1982. After PIX resurrected Chiller Theatre in 2008 (with a broadcast of "Tarantula" hosted by Zacherley) the station received hundreds of requests from viewers demanding the return of Chiller Theatre to the air. It was so great to see a classic old horror movie on local TV again! Thanks for the 60s British gothic horror! More Hammer Films please! It would be wonderful to have old culty horror flicks on Saturday TV more often, like PIX used to do.

I was at work and mentioned to a co-worker how Chiller Theater was on again on CH 11 and as we were speaking a few others gathered around and many there saw it and also enjoyed it so a BIG THANK YOU WPIX , please make it a weekly show on Sat evenings
