Mark Joyella joined Toni On! New York after giving up the grind of daily local news reporting, returning to New York and leaving his job at ABC station WPLG in Miami to marry his Brooklyn-based wife, Tiffanie. A five-time Emmy Award-winning reporter who's worked at stations across the country and at WNYW in New York (where he shared an office with Toni), Mark now produces documentary films, blogs about the news business at localnewser.com, and, with his wife, is preparing to launch a wine and travel site called Vinitrek.

Mark has also recently been appointed the first community-supported journalist at The Coaching Commons, covering the field of coaching worldwide. In his unique new role, Mark's reporting is funded through a grant from the nonprofit Harnisch Foundation as an effort to explore new ways to bring journalism to audiences and subjects not been covered by for-profit media.

In his spare time (what? when's that?), Mark and Tiffanie run marathons, try to keep three dogs and a cat off the couch in Brooklyn, travel, and enjoy trying new wines (you know, for research purposes--wine site and all).
