John F. Kennedy Jr., son of former President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, was born November 25, 1960. He was born just sixteen day after John F. Kennedy was elected president. John Jr. was three days shy of his third birthday when his father was assassinated. After moving out of the White House, he lived with his family in Manhattan. John Jr. graduated from Brown University and then received a law degree from New York University School of Law. He became an assistant district attorney in New York and later founded 'George,' a monthly political magazine. He married Carolyn Bessette in 1996. In 1999, he along with his wife and sister-in-law, Lauren Bessette, were killed when the Piper Saratoga II HP he was piloting crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. The accident was ruled as a pilot error.
