    The trustees of the City University of New York, or CUNY, have voted to raise the tuition for students by $300 per year over five years, including the current academic year.  Hundreds of students and activists protested on Monday outside of the Baruch College main building in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan where the CUNY Board of Trustees met to pass the proposal.
