  1. Actor Johnny Palermo Dies In Car Accident, Appeared on Everybody Hates Chris

Actor Johnny Palermo, who appeared in more than 30 television shows, died June 8th in an early morning car accident in North Hollywood, Calif. He was 27.
His girlfriend, Alessandra Giangrande, who was driving at the time, also was killed, and her brother suffered serious injuries. Palermo and Giangrande were pronounced dead at the scene.
Palermo was a regular on the Nickelodeon series &quot;Just for Kicks" and appeared in three episodes of the CW's "Everybody Hates Chris" as Frank DiPaolo, Chris' overgrown classmate.
Palermo who was most recently seen in a May installment of CBS' "Rules Of Engagement," also appeared in " Cold Case," "General Hospital," " CSI: Miami," "How I Met Your Mother" and " CSI: NY." He can be seen in the upcoming indie feature "Pizza With Bullets," which will be released on October 1st.</article_body>

  3. Brian Austin-Green is Metallo On Smallville

    Well, that didn't take long.  After passing on a gig at One Tree Hill, Brian Austin-Green has decided to take on Clark Kent as kryptonite-fueled cyborg baddie Metallo in at least the first two new episodes of Smallville this fall.  DC Comics' Metallo is the alter ego of Daily Planet reporter John Corben. In just a few months, Brian has gone from fighting cyborgs on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles to becoming one on Smallville. Smallville kicks off its new season on Friday, September 25th at 8pm.
