Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has worn many hats over the years: stand-up comedian, sitcom star, talk show host, awards show host and funky dancer. She puts her dancing and comedy skills to good use on her daytime talk show "Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show." After gaining attention as a stand-up comedian, DeGeneres starred in films and short-lived TV shows before landing her own sitcom. She made TV history on "Ellen" when she (and her character) announced they were gay. Her talk show followed in 2003. She is married to actress Portia de Rossi.
