Brooklyn Children’s Theatre is an after school musical theatre program for children in 1st-12th grades.  They offer performance driven classes where children are cast in and rehearse a musical play.  They believe that many skills are gained from learning theatre for performance.  Not only are children learning skills in acting, singing, and dancing; but they are also learning life lessons such as teamwork, punctuality, accountability, and risk-taking.  Over the course of a session, they see children become more confident, try new things, and make huge leaps in the development of their talents.

At BCT, they also believe that theatre should be for ALL children, not just for those who can afford it. Their scholarship program currently sustains 25% of our students.  They will never turn a child away from BCT for an inability to pay.
